Hi there, I’m Leah (she/they) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), art therapist (MA, ATR-P), and creator based in Cleveland, OH. Have you ever experienced someone giving you an uncomfortable glance or had harmful words spoken to or about you because of your racial identity or ethnicity, sexual/affectional orientation, or just because of the way you look? Have you ever had difficulties describing what or how you’re feeling, or not knowing what the hell to do when you’re feeling the feels?
I am here to provide a multicultural perspective, utilizing a holistic approach to therapy to support each client with the tools to reach their unique goals in this healing journey. I love getting the chance to help people have those “ah-ha” moments when they work through self-exploration and healing through previous grief, trauma, stress, and/or relationship problems.
I aim to create a safe, brave, and welcoming space that my clients will value and feel supported within the therapeutic relationship so they may learn to live through and manage all of the challenges life has to offer. I practice through Person-Centered approach, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, with some CBT and DBT.
Fun facts about me: I’ve moved to and from 3 different states and have been an avid traveler from a very young age. So, I have lived through the experiences of being in a brand new place and knowing absolutely nothing about what to do in the new environment.

Hello! I’m KD Kade (they/he/she), the Recreating Dawn Clinic Coordinator as well as an Art Therapy Intern here!
Are you struggling with chronic pain or other chronic illnesses? Are you looking for help with your LGBTQIA+ experience and want a therapist who is also part of the community? Are you struggling with body image or self-esteem? If you answered yes to any of these, then it would be a pleasure to work with you!
Together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, past, and any traumatic experiences that may have occurred during your life. We will challenge negative beliefs and learn what coping strategies are effective for you. Our therapeutic space together will be safe for self-expression and supportive of growth and self-awareness. We can create art, we can move, or we can just talk. Whatever you’re feeling, that session.
Outside of being a student intern, I am also married and have three cats! I love nature and taking walks. I also spend time indoors playing games, watching movies, and creating art! Deep breathing and listening to music are two of my favorite ways to calm down.
Working under the supervision of Joyous Williams.
